Life Fitness 9500HR Treadmill
The Life Fitness 9500HR is one of the more popular treadmills offered by Life Fitness. It can
easily be found on different gyms all over the world. It is a heavy duty treadmill, made up of steel frame to
increase the strength and stability of the machine. It is able to withstand up to 400 pounds. A powerful and
heavy duty 4.0 H.P. Motor powers the 9500HR. Lite Fitness uses the Solid State Motor controller to reduce the
effect of wear and tear on the different parts of the treadmill. The 20 x 60-inch running belt provides enough
room for natural strides, making running or walking feel as natural as possible. To minimize the shock that is
sent on the knees and the lower back due to high impact, the 9500HR comes with the FlexDeck shock absorption
system.
Using the treadmill is a walk in the part. It comes with an LCD screen that
provides a bevy of information as well as choices. To start, you would have to choose the kind of training you’d
want. There is the Quick Start mode. This mode gives you the option to just run for a whole hour. Another mode is
Fat Burn mode. This gets you running at a speed of 6.5 km/h and 7.5 km/h. The intensity of this mode raises your
heartrate at 120 bpm. And if you are really into training, you might want to take a look at the Cardiovascular
training mode. This raises the speed at a fast 7.5 km/h and 8.5 km/h, raising the beats per minute of your heart to
150-170. If none of these pre-programs work for you, you can use the Manual mode instead. Or, if you are feeling
adventurous, you can do the Random Mode instead. If you want to increase the resistance, you can have up to 15% of
smooth incline.
The console is quite easy to use. The LED is quite large and the keys are easy to
learn how to use. After every running session, the easy to read LED display will show the information about the run
– the incline, the speed, the amount of time used in running, as well as the heart rate. There are sensors that are
located just beneath the screen and you should hold on to these sensors while running to get an accurate
reading.
A quick glance at the Life Fitness 9500HR treadmill’s price tag might make you wince. After all, priced at a
couple of thousand dollars, the 9500HR is definitely not under the budget class. However, the features and the
specifications of the 9500HR make every cent spent on it worth it.
